Meet the stars of Aquarius
The sun rises with the stars of the constellation Aquarius the Water Carrier this month.
The new moon on the 17th produces an annular eclipse of the sun, which is mirrored by a total eclipse of the moon on 3rd March.
2nd February
The sun aligns with the pretty bluish-white subgiant star AlBali (Epsilon Aquarii). This is actually a triple star system that has a disk of debris surrounding one of the components radiating infrared light. This star seems to work through our dreams and visions, filtering messages from the celestial to the unconscious dreaming and into eventual conscious awareness.
14th February
About the 14th of the month, the sun aligns (by degrees of Right Ascension) with the star Sadalsuud "Luckiest of the Lucky"(Beta Aquarii). This is another multiple star system, whose main component is a pale yellow supergiant - a region of light that is host to celestial beings, angels, helping with our transition to the Age of Aquarius.
22nd February
The golden yellow supergiant star Sadalmelik "Luck of the King" (Alpha Aquarii) aligns with the sun today. This star is placed opposite the star Regulus in the constellation Leo the Lion. This profound source of light is host to a choir of angels that guard the holy vessels of fire and water, and the ambrosia of heaven.
24 February
The yellow dwarf star Ancha (Theta Aquarii) aligns with the sun about now, sending beautiful beams of light and rainbow blessings through water droplets and sunshine. The dragonfly teaches about the interplay of light and water, weaving the waterways with grace and joy.
