Current Venus Cycle (12)

25th March 2025 to 24th October 2026

This cycle is the last 'petal' in the 8-year 'rose' pattern made by the orbit of Venus with respect to our planet Earth.  It's also the final rounds of the 13 x 8 year 'greater cycle'.

Venus reaches superior conjunction ~ January 6th 2026

Venus disappears behind the sun and transitions from morning star to evening star in the coming weeks.  All this happens soon after the amazing galactic new moon at the December solstice, when Venus and Mars joined the sun and moon over the galactic centre.

For most of 2025, Venus has graced the morning sky as morning star, but in a few weeks time, should be visible as evening star, appearing briefly after the sunset. Traditionally this transitional period is associated with transformation, renewal, readjustment and profound insight.  Any time spent in meditation an alignment with this process is recommended.  Perhaps light a candle in the west at sunset and let yourself enter the tranquil space of twilight, allowing the magic and mystery to speak to your heart and soul.  Allow the light to guide you to the next phase of your evolutionary journey.

20th January

Venus enters the constellation Capricornus the Sea Goat, leading to the potential for harmonious relationships, work-related activities and good 'housekeeping'.  Vesta or Hestia is the goddess of the hearth and makes a good guide for this phase, along with the crystal guardians, stone keepers and earth angels.

28th January

The constellation Aquarius overlaps that of Capricornus somewhat, so the stars of Capricorn still exert some effect for a few days, but those of Aquarius work with Venus to add a humanitarian approach to life.  A time for drawing on the collective wisdom and goodwill of the wider human family.  Perhaps a good time for visiting healing springs, water gardens, rivers or lakes.

1st March

Continuing the evening star phase, Venus enters the constellation Pisces, which is the place of 'exaltation' for the planet Venus and so this constellation provides a house for Venus for the second time in this current cycle.  A beautiful, natural placement for the planet of harmony and beauty, influencing happy dreams and facilitating adaption to change - go with the flow!  Appropriate guides may include Amphitrite, wife of the god of the sea, mermaids, dolphins and fishes.

4th April

Venus enters constellation Aries, an alignment which may allow for a more harmonious relationship between animals and humans and for a meeting of the head and the heart.  Exciting new discoveries or ways for creative expression may arise from seeking inspiration from nature and the elements.

24th April

Conjunction of Venus with the Pleiades

The bright orb of Venus as evening star appears just below the beautiful Pleiades star cluster after sunset, heralding blessings of great peace, love and joy.  Sweet dreams everyone!
